Customer "A****l" Reviewed in the United States:
"The tent performs well. Dome X6 Pro has more mesh door and window designs than Dome X6. Camping by the lake in winter, the tent is as warm as spring. Tips: Be sure to purchase an inner tent when placing an order, otherwise bugs may come in at night. An inner tent avoids this problem."

"I have had this tent for two years now and have not had a single issue with it. It is super easy to set up and take down. Once staked down, the tent has astonishing strength - it survived winds of 50 - 60 mph in the Scottish Highlands with only the slightest deformation. The almost full mesh inner lining allows for consistent airflow to reduce condensation but even during a 4 day trip with rainy cool nights, the water that accumulated drip down the exterior tent lining with no drips entering the inner tent itself. The tent is roomy enough to fit my 6'2" 250 lb frame. There is enough headroom to change my clothes or sit and have a cup of tea. The vestibule is spacious."

Customer "HikingLabs" Reviewed:
"Best tent I’ve ever owned. You aren’t just paying for the name. Very simple set up, was easy to do for one person. Plenty of room for me and my two labs, could easily have another adult. I use a twin size air mattress sometimes and a sleeping pad others. Plenty of room for both, my dogs, and my gear. Stayed dry on a rainy day. We did experience some condensation but I’m near a water source, warm days, cool nights, and my labs are usually swimming so they’re wet at some point. This was my best rent purchase ever and I’ve owned everything from discount store to professional backpacking tents. Gear pocket is nice for my phone and flashlight (so the dogs don’t prevent me from finding them) wish it had a gear loft too, but the pocket is fine. I use a tarp under and protect the inside floor from dog claws. Wish I could give this 10 stars."

"Have had this tent for 3 or 4 years and it has been a dream. My partner is extremely tall, so this is a 3 person tent was a no brainer for us. It has held up like a dream. We camp and backpack with it many many times each summer and no problems yet! We are able to split it up easily between the 2 of us for a backpacking trip. I am also able to set it up by myself in a few minutes. Yes, be a gentle with the zippers... have not had any problems but can potentially see why they may get problematic. There are so many convenient pockets on the inside, it's extremely helpful to stay organized. Still stoked on this purchase after a few years."

"I recently used the North Face Wawona 4 tent for a week-long summer getaway in the Sequoias, and it was perfect. The weather was very warm, and I appreciated the tent's windows, which provided excellent ventilation. As a 4-person dome tent, it offers ample headroom—I'm 5'8" and could stand comfortably inside. My son and I used sleeping pads and had plenty of space between us. The tent can easily accommodate two more pads or gear storage, and a queen-size mattress fits inside effortlessly. While the tent is on the heavier side, making it ideal for car camping, the fabric is thicker and more durable compared to other family/car tents I own from different brands. I love the storage pockets on the rear door. The setup is easy for two people, and overall, it's a high-quality tent."

Customer "Mombo_Moe" Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2023:
"Let first state that I have not use this tent for camping yet. But i did set it up in my living room. To begin with, this is a quality design and built tent. My major concern was, can I fit two people inside with two cots and still have room. YES I CAN. Three vents and three doors. The floor covering is perfect. You can choose to use it or not. If raining I would use it. Inside there is about a four inch flap on the bottom where the flooring fits over the flap to insure NO. WATER get in. The dome shape is wonderful. My wife is 5’4’ and can still upright without bending. Me on the other hand, I have to bend a little (6’2”). Easy set up. Tent, tent poles and pegs fits back into the carrying bag when folded properly. Two negatives which isn’t a deal breaker. 1. No windows, 2. No foyer to protect from you from falling rain if doors are opened and depending on which way the blows rain will get in. The stakes are 9 inches in length which is great for securing the tent. Guy-line have a reflective dashes on the cords. Oh, without the cots and hot stove four people can fit comfortably."

Customer "JL" Reviewed:
"A very functional, light and easy-to-use tent. The tent can be assembled very quickly and dry even in the rain, because the outer tent is attached to the inner tent. However, the outer and inner tents can be detached from each other for washing etc. Sturdy feeling, really good ventilation, suitable pocket space inside and the spacious apses can fit two people's belongings well. The first nights were spent in heavy rain, the tent was water resistant perfectly. The only downside is that there is such a large gap between the outer tent and the ground that flies easily gather between the outer and inner tent."

Customer "The Last Lebowski" Reviewed:
"I got to test this tent out a couple of weeks ago in the Yellowstone backcountry and so far am very happy. I purchased this tent looking for a winter shelter for camping in temps from Zero to Thirty (or so) degrees F. I was so impressed with my Futurelight Jacket that I had to give this tent a try. I think the person who reviewed this tent last thought that it is a summer backpacking or car camping tent, which it is not. This is a great, lightweight winter shelter. I had zero issues with condensation even when temps dipped to about 17 degrees F. I had the roof vents open all night and the vent into the vestibule open as well. You could use this tent in the summer if you wanted to, there is a good amount of ventilation which can be achieved with the roof vents and door vents, but it's not really meant to be a summer tent. Personally, I prefer a tent with a lot more mesh in the summer for better airflow, and you can get a much lighter summer tent. At six pounds, this tent is light for its application but my summer two-person is about half this weight. I was really impressed with the carbon fiber tent frame which helps lighten things up, and setup was easy when I had the tent staked down BEFORE I tried to raise it. It was much harder to assemble in my living room as the whole thing was sliding around un-staked. Two long poles to make an X inside and you just put each end into its corner and bingo, your tent is up. Some nice velcro loops inside to secure the frame. The vestibule has some great little toggles and loops to attach it to the tent body that go together well, even with gloves on. Lots of guylines, plenty sufficient for fair-weather winter camping. Even in a serious storm, exposed to the wind, you should have plenty of tie-off spots to keep the tent in place. I only have three very small gripes about the tent: *At 5'10" I touch the tent walls with my head and toes when inside, if you are much taller than me you'll have to sleep a little diagonal to fit. It would be nice to have a little more length to prevent the sleeping bag from contacting the wall fabric. *The tent stakes that come with it are summer stakes. I wish for the money TNF would include snow stakes. *The tent pole for the vestibule is hard to get through the sleeve that holds it. These are minimal complaints, however, and I think this tent still ranks at the top of the ultralight alpine tent category. Very impressed with Futurelight fabric and excited to put the tent through the wringer this winter."

Customer "TJGJR" Reviewed:
"My tent is the smaller version of the 6-person tent. I like the layout and size. It is easy to pitch. The rain tarp is very easy to quickly pitch, as well, should rain arrive suddenly. I think the zipper to the door could be more robust. I wish the door could be unzipped to a fully-screened door. Half-screen at this time. A story for you. The other day, I heard rumbling outside the tent at dusk. Where I camp its best to be in the tent by that time. The rain tarp was on. I got to my knees and looked out the door-screen. Two moose glided by, a calf and a cow. Then, the huge surprise, a third bull-moose followed up. He ducked under the rain tarp, peering into the tent door. We were nose-to-nose and eye-to-eye. Frightened, he fell backward and nearly rolled over before darting away. What an experience."

"Russian Bear tents are also 50 pounds but include a stove and can keep the interior at 80°F at -80°F outside. If stoves are not possible, then this option is sufficient as long as you have a top notch pad and bag. Used in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada and International Falls -40F. Wind was bad. This tent did not budge. Setup was fairly easy the firat time."

Customer "Ma****in" Reviewed:
"I'm writing about the tent I just bought. One hour ago there was a thunderstorm and a lot of the water that got through the screen door of the outer tent breached my inner tent and got my sleeping bag soaked. Has the inner tent been water tested? Also, the removable floor I purchased seems like it would only be useful in the winter, because there are lots of bugs that crawl up from the underside. This wouldn't be such a problem if the inner tent had more breathability, but there is simply not enough mesh for adequate airflow. The inner tent doors should also have a screen. As of now, (with no modifications) the only way two people could ever have enough air in that tent is if there were mesh doors. I can't even get enough air as it is. Consider having a tighter fit with the floor to the tent skirt, and you'd have yourself an excellent product."

"I've used this tent a handful of times in Ohio and Colorado and so far so good. It kept me dry in pouring rain in Ohio as well as a pop-up storm with hail in Colorado. Breathability was fine - no issues with condensation inside. I haven't backpacked with it, but have plenty of space for me (5'1) (but no gear other than a few overnight items). I've pitched it on grass, gravel, rock. I do find the front hard to get just right, but it's fine. It fits in my carry-on bag when I travel. I haven't had issues with tearing of any parts. I do wish it came with a footprint, I use the one from my Half-Dome 2 SL to protect the bottom but since it doesn't fit it has built up some water undernearth (and I've stayed dry!). I want to add pictures to this review but it's not giving me the option right now, maybe I'll figure out later."

Customer "Beanie" Reviewed:
"Just a quick write-up for people whose tent poles are no longer snapping back together. It's normal for shock cords to wear out and become inelastic over time. The Half Dome and Quarter Dome seem to consistently have this issue after a few years. You can replace the shock cord in your tent poles at home without specialized tools. (You don't need a clamp; a bobby pin or clothespin works fine.) It takes about an hour. You need about 30 feet of 3/32" shock cord, which you can order online. If you get larger diameter cord, it will not fit through your poles. It's a good idea to get a few extra feet - I ordered 35 feet of extreme durability cord to be safe and I keep the leftover in my tent bag. There are general instructional videos on YT that teach you how to replace your shock cord. If you follow the cord through your poles one section at a time, it's fairly easy to figure out how to restring it without Quarter Dome specific instructions. No need to replace your tent. You got this!"
