1.Review from Customer "AWorkFromHomeMom":
"Super easy to use, store, and travel with. Sometimes I put this on a kitchen counter and use it instead of the electric stove because this cooks faster.
%23 Fuel Canister Placement
Simply open the fuel compartment and insert the fuel canister. Aim the notch in the canister neck at the insertion and align the tab. For safety purposes, the stove will not light is the fuel canister locking mechanism isn't engaged.
Save Money On Fuel
To save money, buy a multipack of fuel canisters for this. Always try to have at least one spare canister because sometimes they are out if stock.
My kids and I always have at least one of these or the dual fuel version handy. It comes in a convenient carry case that easily fits under a car seat. Put your camp dish/utensils and pot set and voila! Traveling kitchen."
2.Review from Customer "WayneJ":
"This little stove is a pretty awesome purchase, considering the price. I dinged it one star because the pot grate will not accept smaller camping pots. The fingers the pot rests on do not extend far enough inward to accommodate small camping/hiking pots. The smallest pot I would attempt to put on the burner would be about 5 1/2". I posted a picture with a 5" billy can and although it sits on the burner, moving it at all it will fall in, as shown. The distance between opposing fingers is 4". The carry case is a bit cheezy but that is the case with all similar butane stoves. Other than that, I have no regrets and enjoyed having it on my recent campout."
3.Review from Customer "Benjamin":
"Been using this stove for about a week now. So far, it's been great. Lights on the first try. It's compact and very lightweight. I like the overall appearance. It cooks very well. On high, I have more than enough heat to cook anything I want to cook. It's actually excessive after a while. I can cook burgers very effectively even on low. I'm not sure how it will hold up long term but so far, it's been excellent."
4.Review from Customer "jhintx":
"We bought this in anticipation of a hurricane and used this afterwards. Followed all instructions and have used a different brand previously but this is weirdly made up of pieces of plastic and metal. I'm not a genius but plastic pieces don't need to be near a fire? The knob right away would not turn without a lot of force and a small piece broke off. Finally got the fire going and part of the plastic began melting. That's when I gave up and we ate sandwiches instead."
5.Review from Customer "Joy":
"This is a nice little butane stove. It works like most others. For 19.88 you can't beat the price. I've used butane camp stoves that were 3x the price and I see no difference in how they cook. I wish there was a way to hook up a hose and convert it to gas but it's not a big at all. My ONLY true complaint is that the carrying case is pretty much garbage. It doesn't open and close smoothly, causing the hinges to come apart. I would suggest investing in a better carrying case."
6.Review from Customer "Dave":
"I love it!!!
Great stove, easy to read instructions. I read all the reviews before purchasing and came to the conclusion that most (not all) of the one star reviews were the result of people not following instructions. My biggest apprehension to purchasing this stove was concern about the butane canister exploding. This concern was very quickly resolved after learning that the Olympia butane cans at Walmart use "triple seaming rim vent release" to prevent explosion. I am very happy with this purchase."
7.Review from Customer "mikesidoj2":
"Great little stove ! l'm a solo camper and I use the Ozark Trail 4 in 1 jet stove, and a MSR Pocket Rocket for use with small cookware, but I wanted another stove large enough for large cookware that didn't take up alot of space. This Ozark Trail butane single burner was just what I needed. Love this stove and works very well. And unlike the Coleman which is similar, the cooking surface is removable for cleaning. Also 10 bucks cheaper than the Coleman. Both the Coleman and the Ozark Trail have the same build quality but the price and the removable cooking surface sold me on the Ozark Trail stove."
8.Review from Customer "Tisha":
"I bought this initially for my families hot pot night. It’s at a great price and got the job done. The butane had to be purchased separately, but that’s usually a given with these portable gas stoves. We ended up using it on another occasion at the beach. Overall a good portable and convenient product that I can see myself and my family using more often in the future."
9.Review from Customer "deborah":
"Turned it one once and it caught on fire.
I know it wasn’t user error as I have used many butane and propane camp stoves.
Luckily I put the fire out before it cause any property damage to the campsite but sadly I burned my arm hair off and singed my bangs :(
Walmart accepted my return and they took back the food I didn’t cook thank goodness"
10.Review from Customer "Ricardo":
"I've been wanting a small stove like this and I love all the Ozark branded stuff I already own so I picked one of these up. The butane canisters are right down the aisle in Walmart so as soon as I got home I tried it out. Funny that we cooked dinner on this little stove instead of in the house last night. WOW, this unit performed like a champ. Next weekend (now that the sun is out in So.Cal) we will be using this at our beach campsite. Highly Recommend this Ozark Stove"
